There are always new and quirky things happening at The House of Rose & Brown. Whether it's taking an exhibition to other venues, serving afternoon tea and playing old 78s on a wind up gramophone in the street or holding competitions to create new outfits from unwearable old clothes.
The House of Rose & Brown never sits on its laurels. Instead, Caroline is constantly thinking of new ways to promote the shop, the concept, and of course the hugely talented artists and makers who participate. The House of Rose & Brown, as well as being 'such a divine little shop' is also an experience, an adventure and an unusual perspective on life....It is about being non-mass market, about appreciating the small details, embracing the eccentricities and character of all things vintage, and all things handmade.
